Foundation
Bharti Foundation began their community interventions about 20 years ago in the year 2000. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises the promoter of the flagship telecom brand AIRTEL.
The Foundation is working to improve the accessibility and quality of education across rural India, with a special focus on the girl child. The Foundation implements and supports programs in primary, secondary and higher education as well as nationwide Sanitation Programs.
I have been associated with the Bharti Foundation as a Member of the Governing Council for the past over 12 years and have been actively participating in their various programs and initiatives. I have visited many of the schools in rural India and interacted with the parents, students and the teachers in those schools and the villages. The quality of the Foundation’s professional team is superb and their commitment to the causes are praiseworthy.
