Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani International Centre for Child Heart Care & Research,
Baghola, NH-2, Delhi-Mathura Road, Palwal (District), Haryana – 121102
One of the leading causes of infant mortality in India is the high incidence of congenital heart disease among young children. It is estimated that over 240,000 children are born in this country with a heart disease. The remedial care and interventions remain grossly inadequate and beyond the reach of many poor families.
This unique and absolutely free Child Heart Care initiative has been set up under the able initiative of a proven social entrepreneur Sri. C. Sreenivas. He has an impeccable track record of phenomenal social projects in the fields of Healthcare, Education, Drinking Water Supply and Rural Service Initiatives for over 40 years. He is a very good friend of mine and I have known him personally for decades and it is a matter of great pride and privilege to be associated with his new initiative the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centre for Child Heart Care.
The Trust has now two large hospitals dedicated to the alleviations of the poor families afflicted with this tragedy. The first one was set up in November 2012 in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh and the second hospital was set up in November 2016 at Baghola, Palwal District, Haryana.
Hospital in Palwal, Haryana
Hospital in Naya Raipur, Chattisgarh
Both the hospitals have state-of-the art facilities with a team of highly skilled surgeons and medical support staff. On an average each hospital attends to about one hundred patients every month. They now have a waiting list of over 40,000 patients and so another large hospital is being built in Navi Mumbai.
Pinnacle Opportunities provides access to consulting talents absolutely pro-bono and is strategizing with the Trust to build a robust retail donation engine. Sai Anna Laxmi Foundation is providing support to their free food to patients as well as to their community health programs.
I will continue to engage with the entire team to fortify their hands to deliver more.
